Dr. Schumacher has over 15 years of experience with data analysis and development, implementation and testing of complex algorithm streams. As senior vice president and chief scientist at Initiate, an IBM Company, Scott is responsible for the research and development of matching algorithms and management of product development. Scott has Master of Arts and Doctorate degrees in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he served as an associate professor. Scott is currently a member of the Institute for Mathematical Statistics.
