Jamie Welch, CPEHR, CPHIT, is Chief Information Officer at the Louisiana Rural Hospital Coalition, Inc. (LRHC), and Information Technology Director of the Louisiana Rural Health Information Exchange (LARHIX). She is responsible for all health information technology (HIT) decisions for 24 hospitals in north Louisiana and provides HIT strategic direction to 44 member hospitals.
Jamie currently serves on the Louisiana Healthcare Quality Forum, National Health Information Technology Standards Panel, National Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration, and the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics.
