Webinar: Relationships are the Lines that Connect the Dots

Attend the webinar to learn how relationships connect the dots
What is your data trying to tell you?
In intelligence gathering, there is great value in understanding non-obvious relationships to multiple degrees of separation. Relationships are the lines that connect the dots and allow you to discover what you don’t know between entities – not just persons, but also objects, locations and events.
Detecting non-obvious relationships – such as when two people share an address but not other identifying details – can be extraordinarily beneficial to law enforcement and counter-terrorism efforts. Going one step further, discovering activities related to a person or entity of interest – and alerting interested parties in real time – can be very powerful.
Join us on March 25 for a live webinar that will explore how relationships can help connect the dots. We will discuss:
- Linking relationships between entities in large data sets, particularly for intelligence and law enforcement missions
- The difference between explicit and derived relationships, and how to use rules and algorithms to uncover hidden relationships
- Identifying entities of interest and recognizing the relationship patterns between those entities beyond one degree of separation
- The value of data governance and data stewardship and their role in successfully identifying relationships that will help connect the dots
- Overcoming fuzzy relationships and leveraging those new-found relationships
John Casciano will join me to discuss this very timely topic. General Casciano retired from the US Air Force's senior-most intelligence community position as Director of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance. During a military career spanning more than 30 years, he has developed extensive expertise in the information security, information operations and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). General Casciano currently serves as a member of AFCEA International's Intelligence Committee and has participated in advisory panels and studies for the Defense Science Board and Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.
Register now to join us. If you are unable to attend, register and we will send you a link to the recording.
